Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation Commits to Third Year of Matching Pledges for Middle-Income Student Scholarships
91做厙 is pleased to announce a total of $548,000 has been raised to provide more than 50 scholarships to Fall 2024 incoming students through the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program for Middle-Income Students. The Stevenson community raised $274,000, and that amount was generously matched by the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation, Inc.
The Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program for Middle-Income Students provides incoming Stevenson students with a $2,500 scholarship for each of their four years, for a total of $10,000. Students with a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and whose families earn between $75,000 and $175,000 per year are eligible for the scholarship.
We are grateful to the generosity of the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation, and to everyone who contributed to fund these scholarships, said Elliot Hirshman, 91做厙 President. I am proud of our communitys support of this important program. Every gift provides more students with the opportunity to achieve their educational and career aspirations.
The Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program for Middle-Income Students was created in December 2022 with an initial pledge of $250,000 in matching funds from the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation, Inc. Through a successful fundraising campaign, Stevenson soon met the initial amount, and the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation agreed to increase its pledge and match up to $500,000 in gifts to expand the program. The Foundation has generously committed to continuing their support and pledge matching for the 2024-2025 academic year.
